It was a sad day in the gaming community when Guillermo Del Toro’s Silent Hills was cancelled. The “Playable Trailer” (P.T.) is the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced on a game console. With news of the cancellation came questions about who would step up and create something in the same vein. Well, it looks like a U.K. studio called Lilith Ltd. is here to fill the void with Allison Road.

The game is in Pre Alpha at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped Lilith Ltd. from releasing the in-engine footage below. The game looks stunning, and while they understand they do not have budget of Del Toro and Konami, they are committed to bringing something unique and creepy to the horror fans across the world.

Here’s what we know so far:

You play as an unnamed protagonist that awakes in a British townhouse with no memory.
“Over the course of five nights it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within its walls, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am,” the game’s description reads. “What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home? If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not?”
It looks like the team is targeting PC as it’s primary platform with Oculus Rift support in tact. They have also applied to the ID@Xbox program for the Xbox One. The developer states that they would love to target PS4, but there seems to be an issue with Static/Dynamic IP addresses that prevent that from happening at the moment.
“Even though we might not have a big budget (or a big crew for that matter), we are a bunch of highly passionate individuals who are trying to develop to the highest standards with the means we have available to us”.

There you have it. We will be reaching out to Lilith Ltd. in the near future to see what else we can uncover. Until then, be sure to support them by swinging by their Facebook page. We’ll keep you posted on the latest happenings as they come our way. Stay tuned.
