STARZ probably isn’t the network that comes to mind when you think of compelling original programming. Sure, they have had some success, but their competitors generally get all of the attention. That could all change in the near future though, thanks to the horror community. We are a passionate bunch, and it seems as if the premium cable channel is aiming to please with the upcoming Ash vs. Evil Dead series.
The newly released teaser trailer doesn’t show much, but it’s gritty…bloody…and features everybody’s favorite one liner. So let’s hope STARZ is able to build upon the success that the Evil Dead franchise has benefited from as of late. Season 1 is slated for 10 episodes coming in at 30 minutes each. We still don’t have a concrete release date, but expect it this Fall.
