For one reason or another, there doesn’t seem to be much buzz around the early 2017 standout, THE BRIDE. Maybe it’s the lack of English subtitles in the trailer, or maybe it’s the scarcity of official information in general… but none of that matters. When you have a film as visually stunning as Svyatoslav Podgayevskiy’s THE BRIDE, the only language you need to speak is fear.

Crude Russian Translation: After the wedding, Anastasia trying to persuade her husband to take her with him to his family, who live in a small, almost abandoned town. But soon he begins to regret his request. Vanya’s family wants to spend a mysterious wedding ceremony on their traditions, and Nastya start scaring nightmares and strange premonitions. Trying to understand what is happening, leading to terrible Woman discovery – box with pictures of dead people.
