COLD SKIN isn’t a new movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it will be new to North American audiences later this year. COLD SKIN will get a September 7 release thanks to Samuel Goldwyn Films. 

COLD SKIN is the latest work of Xavier Gens (FRONTIER(S)), who is directing a script written by Jesús Olmo (28 WEEKS LATER) and Eron Sheean (THE DIVIDE). The movie is based off the 2007 novel of the same name by Albert Sánchez Piñol, a Spanish anthropologist, non-fiction writer, and novelist.

COLD SKIN is a story about a young man who arrives on a remote island. He finds himself trapped in watchtower by dealing creatures living on the island. 

The movie stars Ray Stevenson (THOR), David Oakes and Aura Garrido. You can watch the North American trailer to COLD SKIN below. 

In 1914, a young man arrives at a remote island near the Antarctic Circle to take the post of weather observer only to find himself trapped in a watchtower besieged by deadly creatures which live in hiding on the island.
