As summer is drawing closer, New Line Cinema has released a one-sheet for James Wan’s The Conjuring 2 to hold us over for the June 10th, 2016 theatrical release.  Of course, if you really want to get hyped up then check out the trailer, but that the poster seems to draw heavy parallels with The Exorcist is also very intriguing.  That the Rosary is so prominent in the forefront suggests a heavy religious tone with an assumed possessed girl in the background.  Regan, anyone?  But we already know that Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, respectively) will be handling the infamous Enfield Poltergeist case.

The Conjuring 2 also stars Frances O’Connor as the single mom, with newcomers Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley and Benjamin Haigh as her children; Maria Doyle Kennedy; Simon Delaney; Franka Potente; and Simon McBurney.

Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) travel to 1977 England to help single mom Peggy Hodgson and her four children, particularly daughter Janet (played by Madison Wolfe).
