When Creep hit the horror scene just a few years ago, it became an instant cult classic—a solid entry in the found footage genre. Fans of the movie can now rejoice as the trailer for the sequel, aptly named Creep 2, has dropped, and it looks as dark and as twisted as the original.

Sara, played by Desiree Akhavan, is working on a video series about lonely men. While working on her project, she stumbles upon an online ad for “video work.” Sara soon finds herself face-to-face with Aaron (Mark Duplass) who’s claiming to be a serial killer. Fans will notice Aaron is the name of the videographer Duplass’ Josef killed in the first movie. As the story progresses, Sara fears she may be in for more than she bargained.

Patrick Brice returns to the director chair for the sequel. Creep 2 hits all VOD platforms on October 24, 2017. Later in the year, the movie will hit Netflix.

Desiree Akhavan (“Girls”, APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR) stars as Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men. After finding an ad online for “video work,” she thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams. She drives to a remote house in the forest and meets a man claiming to be a serial killer (Mark Duplass, reprising his role from the previous film). Unable to resist the chance to create a truly shocking piece of art, she agrees to spend the day with him. However, as the day goes on she discovers she may have dug herself into a hole she can’t escape.
