The Ryan Brothers made waves at the 2015 SXSW festival with their proof-of-concept short film titled, WELCOME TO WILLITS: AFTER SUNDOWN. It wasn’t long after that we began to hear rumblings of a feature film adaptation from the brothers themselves. Now, after a long period of silence, we finally have our first look at a complete, polished, and absurdly gory feature-length version of WELCOME TO WILLITS.

The film stars Rory Culkin, Dolph Lundgren, Garrett Clayton, and Anastasia Baranova. A world premiere is expected at the New York City Horror Film Festival. We’ve embedded the new trailer, along with the original short film, below.

Deep in the Northern California woods, in the heart of the notorious Emerald Triangle, lies a remote cabin. The residents struggle to fight off the repeated attacks and abductions by mysterious creatures that have plagued them for years. When a local pot farmer is caught up with a wayward group of campers the situation quickly escalates into total carnage.
