Every once in a while, Jacob Hopkins and I get the wild idea to go off into the woods and do some filming for you fine folks. He does that type of thing all the time–but me? Films like Tim J. Brown’s DEVIL IN THE DARK is all the motivation I need to keep my ass seated right where it is.

The fright flick is set to hit VOD platforms on March 7th courtesy of Momentum Pictures, so while we work on the official review, check out the debut trailer, still images, poster, and plot synopsis. For what it’s worth–I think it looks pretty rad.

When estranged brothers Adam and Clint attempt to reconnect over a week-long hunting trip in remote British Columbia, they find the tables turned by a mysterious presence lurking in the forest. Convinced that they are now besieged by a supernatural presence, the siblings begrudgingly agree on only one thing: they will have to put aside their differences and work together if they plan on making it out these dark woods alive.
