Whether you’re a shark movie person or not, you can’t deny that these things are the ultimate popcorn-guzzling, thrill ride of cinema. Last year, The Shallows made seven times its budget at the box office despite its mixed reviews. Fast forward to 2017, and today we get a glimpse of 47 METERS DOWN. What sets this one apart is that the protagonists aren’t just dealing with one shark, but an ocean full of sharks! Plot twist!

47 METERS DOWN is directed and co-written by Johannes Roberts (STRANGERS 2, THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR) and stars Mandy Moore and Claire Holt as the leading ladies.

Plot Synopsis
Two sisters, Lisa and Kate, take on cage diving adventures while vacationing in Mexico to get up close and personal with sharks. When things don’t go accordingly one thing leads to another and the sisters find themselves trapped 47 meters underwater in an ocean full of sharks.
