If there is one word to describe the redband trailer for Cthulhu Crush Productions’ WTF!, that word would be fuck. Peter Herro directs what looks like a familiar story in the horror world. The single survivor of a massacre decides to finally get on with her life and go on a trip with her new group of friends. History has taught us that always works out well… in opposite world. I’m a fan of campy slashers and this looks to be one, whether it means to be or not… only the final film will tell. WTF! is scheduled to come out sometime in 2016 and if you like gallons of blood splashing across the screen (who doesn’t?), this very well may be the movie for you.
Three years ago, twenty-two year old girl-next-door Rachel (Ott) barely survived a brutal massacre that left her friends in pieces. Time has passed, and Rachel has moved on, but unfortunately history has a way of repeating itself. Her close friends are spending spring break in a secluded house in the woods, and they have cordially invited her to join. Little does she realize that another bloodbath will be showing up as plus one. Once Rachel and her friends arrive at the cabin, the partying, sex, and terror begins.
