We covered Damien Leone’s ‘TERRIFIER‘ when it launched its Indiegogo campaign back in mid-2015. But after hitting only 29% of its goal (regardless of looking fucking incredible), we were unsure of what the future of the film would be. Then I had a conversation with actress Andrea Monier who reminded me of the film, and I decided to see what I could dig up. Well, it turns out the project is alive and well. Production has wrapped, and the film is expected to see an October 2016 release. That’s super exciting, but there’s more….

In the original pitch video, Leone stated that TERRIFIER would be unique. He went on to say that financing and filming the movie outside of established production houses would allow him to push the envelope when it comes to brutality and subject matter. It looks like that hasn’t changed. Leone has recently said: “I assure you, TERRIFIER would receive a NC-17 rating if it was ever presented to the ratings board.”

I’m still uncertain on specific plot details, but you better believe I’m following this one as closely as I possibly can. As burnt out as creepy clowns in horror may be – TERRIFIER seems to be in a league of its own – and that excites me. While we wait for more details, check out these brand new still images and early teaser for your latest look at Art the Clown in TERRIFIER.

A maniacal clown named Art, terrorizes two young women on Halloween night and everyone else who stands in his way.
