As surprising as it may be, one of the most frequented pieces of content we have here in Modern Horrors is the original news story regarding the first HELL HOUSE LLC film. That’s right. For all of the hate that the Found Footage sub genre gets, it would seem as if folks can’t get enough of it when it’s done correctly. And while our own review made note of a few crucial shortcomings, there’s no denying that the end result was quite enjoyable.

That’s why excitement grew when a casting call made its way online for the lead actress in HELL HOUSE LLC 2 back in June of this year. Just to make sure things were still on track, we reached out and were able to confirm with writer/director Stephen Cognetti that the follow up is set to shoot in just two weeks! Can’t say I’m not looking forward to Cognetti and crew sprucing up what was already an excellent concept and execution with even more polish.
