Destructive Creations unveiled their debut game, and boy, is it making waves.  Hatred is described as an isometric shooter where you play the villain.  Sounds fairly mundane, right?  So why all the fuss?  Unlike your average shooter, Hatred seems to have no other purpose than to go on a mass killing spree.  And we’re not talking about Grand Theft Auto style violence.  This is the brutally-knife-and-blast-an-innocent-woman’s-head-into-bits kind of violence.  Apparently, some people think this is in poor taste.

Here at Modern Horrors, we feel that condemning the mindless violence in this game would be hypocritical.  We’re the kind of people who will gladly sit down and watch innocent people get slashed and mangled for the entire run time of a feature film, then leave feeling fairly satisfied.  Then again, we might not be the best role models.  When it’s all said and done, the biggest problem with this game will most likely be its ability to hold the player’s attention.  Sure, it’s probably fun for ten minutes, but will the novelty wear off after that?  Check out the gameplay trailer Destructive Creations released below and let us know how you feel about Hatred.
