If it feels like we have been talking about the Eli Roth Produced film, CLOWN, for years, you aren’t having a deja vu. Rumors and talk about the once mock-trailer and now feature film directed by Jon Watts first plagued the internet way back in 2010. Last year we at Modern Horrors brought you the review of CLOWN for the UK release, which you can check out here. Well Folks, the wait is finally over. Mark your calendar, citizens of the U.S., because you can own CLOWN on DVD/Blu-Ray on August 23rd.

From a screenplay co-written by Watts and Christopher Ford, the film stars Laura Allen and Peter Stormare. CLOWN revolves around a man who, in dire need of entertainment for his son’s birthday party, commandeers a clown costume from a house his real estate team is selling. Once the outfit is on, strange occurrences begin to happen as the bearer of the costume starts a metamorphosis.

The release of CLOWN on Blu-ray and DVD is brought to us by Anchor Bay Entertainment and Dimension Films for the suggested retail price of $26.99 and $22.98, respectively, and includes “Making Clown Featuring producer Eli Roth.”

Plot Synopsis
