I Love Surprises...
When you invest as much time and energy into the genre as I do, it sometimes feels like you’ve seen and heard it all. Getting legitimately excited often requires something very special to come along, but it looks like Last Shift might be worth getting excited for.
It comes to us from the mind of Anthony DiBlasi, who wrote 2009’s Dread… and boy do I love Dread. Last Shift will hit DVD and Blu-ray on October 6th from Magnet Releasing. While you wait for that, go ahead and check out the debut trailer, poster, and plot synopsis below. All are awesome.
Rookie police officer Jessica Loren (Harkavy) has been assigned the last shift at a closing police station and must wait for a hazmat crew to collect biomedical evidence. Ordered not to leave the station under any circumstance, Jessica comes to learn that it’s more than just an outdated station; it’s home to the ultimate embodiment of evil and his devoted, bloodthirsty followers. Jessica is left to fend for herself in the devil’s playground.
