I’ve been eagerly awaiting an update for Eric Pennycoff’s feature film debut, Sadistic Intentions, for well over a year now. In fact, you might remember us including it in our 18 Indie Horror Flicks to Watch in 2018 piece from late last year. Details have been hard to come by, but things are finally starting to pick up for the heavy metal motion picture.

We’re thrilled to share that Sadistic Intentions will be making its world premiere in our home state of Tennessee at the 2018 Knoxville Horror Film Festival. Writer/director Eric Pennycoff is expected to be in attendance alongside select cast and crew. If you’re in the area, we have a feeling you won’t want to miss this one. As for the Knoxville Horror Film Festival, we’ve long appreciated their excellently curated selection of genre offerings for the past several years, and 2018 will be no exception.

Weekend passes are available here, so pick one up and come watch some modern horrors with your pals from Modern Horrors. Until then check out a fresh batch of still images and updated plot synopsis below. Sadistic Intentions stars genre standouts Jeremy Gardner (The Battery, The Mind’s Eye), Larry Fessenden (Carnage Park, The Mind’s Eye), Michael Patrick Nicholson (We Are Still Here, Are We Not Cats), and Taylor Zaudtke
