It’s no secret; I’ve been a Slasher fan since I was first introduced to the horror genre as a small boy. I was raised on the various 80s classics that we all know and love today, but I definitely earned my stripes on the often-overlooked slashers of the 90s. Films like Urban Legend, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Scream found creative ground to stand on while existing franchises were busy churning out (mostly terrible) sequels.

The mid-90s even saw a boom in theatrical horror as one heart-throb after another was cast in genre properties. The 90s were a strange time, and while recent attempts to revisit the deadly decade have come up short, Jamie Weston’s FOX TRAP is looking to take us back to a slashier, and admittedly cheekier, time. We first shared some debut images with you guys way back in February, but now we have a debut trailer for you guys to check out below:

After a terrible accident leaving a young girl disabled, eight years later the group responsible are invited to a remote manor house in the countryside for a class reunion. Little do they know, they are being targeted by a masked maniac hell bent on revenge.
