After a week away from doing our regular show, we’re back in full force and then some. Driving all the way from Massachusetts, staff writer Trev Allen joins us in studio. So let’s get to it.

It’s an unusually large news feed that starts off with talk of THE EXORCIST being renewed and SUSPIRIA being scored by Thom Yorke. We give a little dive into THE PURGE TV series and LEATHERFACE. A zombie film that might have us excited is a new project called IT STAINS THE SAND RED, and some future projects that definitely interest us are SUMMER OF 84 from the Turbo Kid team, as well as Zac Effron playing Ted Bundy in the obnoxiously titled EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE. Finally we give some initial impressions about Daniel Radcliffe’s genre return in GUNS AKIMBO as well as Jordan Peele’s next move.

Segment two has all three of us reviewing sleep paralysis horror flick, DEAD AWAKE. Spoiler alert: we all agree on this one. And finally, we couldn’t have Trev come all the way down and not have a rematch between him and Luke. The first competition ended in allegations of collusion, so this time there are no excuses. All of that and so much more is inside episode 104 of The Modern Horrors Podcast.
