Sure, it’s a couple of days late, but the expiration date still says we’re fresh. We’re making up for it by bringing you a solid episode. Let’s get at it!

Things kick off with a look at FAR FROM THE APPLE TREE, which shows that a budget is never an excuse. Perhaps 2019 is the year Luke gets hitched again to the BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN. Some unexplainable, wild shit is happening in WHAT THE WATERS LEFT BEHIND. Cannes wasn’t feeling the love for Netflix, but James Wan is for RESIDENT EVIL. Finally we hear what Danny McBride has to say concerning his vision of where the HALLOWEEN franchise is headed.

This week’s movie review is for the festival sensation RAW. Was it really that gross, or is it simply a heart-warming tale of a young girl finding her way? Stick around, because we’re spontaneously throwing out an ALIEN: COVENANT review as well. See the wait was worth it. Two for one.

Final round we pull out a Scattergories dice and play a hard fought movie naming game. It may sound easy, and if you think you’ve got what it takes to beat us, let us know. The big stage shows no mercy. All of that and a whole lot more on episode 105 of The Modern Horrors Podcast.
