Germany has been developing a trend as of late. What’s that trend? Releasing some of the most bizarre films that these eyes have ever locked their genre-loving gaze upon. Earlier this year we reviewed Der Samurai [Review], and at the time, I felt as if it was an anomaly in the realm of “weird-ass German movies”. Well… the weird just keeps getting weirder. Artsploitation Films (who also released Der Samurai) is set to distribute festival hit Der Bunker at an undetermined time. The film is making it’s North American premiere at Fantastic Fest next Friday, September 25th.

To celebrate the premiere, a new trailer has been released. Let me tell you… this one will mostly certainly break the needles on your WTF meters. Check it out below:

A young student seeks quiet and solitude to focus on an important work but ends up as the teacher of a peculiar boy who is home-schooled by his parents in an isolated bunker mansion. THE BUNKER is a dark, twisted, and funny tale about childhood, growing up and education.
