I don’t know about you, but I’m practically counting down the days until I can binge watch this new series on Netflix.  As if Netflix needed to give me more reasons to watch, they’ve dropped a new trailer for the mysterious ’80s set series.  While the first trailer focused on the mystery, the new trailer has a very triumphant ’80s feel very reminiscent of classic Amblin Entertainment features.  You know the ones: The Goonies, Gremlins, Back to the Future, or E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, to name a few. Especially that last one. Is there any better pairing than summer and nostalgia?

The series stars Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, David Harbour, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, and Millie Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, and Cara Buono.

Check out the latest trailer below in preparation for the series debut on July 15th, 2016.

Set in Hawkins Indiana in the 1980’s, Stranger Things chronicles the search for a young boy who vanishes into thin air under highly suspicious circumstances. His mother (Winona Ryder) opens an investigation into the boy’s disappearance with local authorities that unravels a series of mysteries involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. A love letter to the ubiquitous cult classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is a coming of age story for three boys that draws this quaint community into a world where mysteries lurk beneath the surface.
