We reported on the latest feature from Black Fawn Films recently and said we’d have a full trailer for you in the near future. Soooooo here it is!  The Sublet comes to us from writer/director John Ainslie (Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer) and stars Tianna Nori (Bite, The Demolisher, Save Yourself). As luck would have it, Jacob Hopkins and myself sat down and had a chat with both John and Tianna yesterday, and we’ll be sharing that conversation with you some time tomorrow afternoon.

We’ll have a full review posted within the next few days, but The Sublet will have its European premiere at Razor Reel Film Festival on November 7th and its North American premiere at Whistler Film Festival this December. Plot Synopsis
THE SUBLET is a suspense driven psychological-thriller about Joanna, a new mom struggling with postpartum depression and coping with her baby alone in an odd sublet apartment. Left alone as her husband neglects her for his career, she discovers that the apartment has a violent past. She clings to her sanity as the apartment’s blood soaked past leaks into the present.
