This Friday marks the release of one of the most anticipated horror film’s this year; the all-female directed anthology XX.  Just ahead of release, we have a clip from Karyn Kusama’s segment, “Her Only Living Son.”  It’s a clip that doesn’t give much away, save for hinting that there’s something really strange about a single mother’s son.  It also manages to capture Kusama’s trademark slow-coiling dread.  In other words, I cannot wait for Friday.

XX features filmmakers Jovanka Vuckovic, Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Roxanne Benjamin , and Karyn Kusama. It will be available on VOD and select theaters this Friday, February 17, 2017.

Plot Synopsis
