While countries such as Spain, Australia, and France are often applauded for their entries into the genre space, it’s not often that we find ourselves jazzed about our South American neighbors down in Brazil. Nevertheless, writer/director Samuel Galli is serving up something that is impossible for us to ignore.

His debut trailer for OUR EVIL not only impresses with its gritty aesthetic, but it appears to be particularly brutal as well. As great of a year as 2017 has been for Horror, I’m not sure we’ve had a film arrive that presses the envelope and tests boundaries (or maybe we have). If nothing else, it looks like we can count on OUR EVIL for that.
