No matter what type of genre films you like, there are so many titles being released this month–both in theaters and on VOD–that will satisfy your hunger for horror. Better Watch Out, previously known as Safe Neighborhood, left a hell of an impression on the SXSW viewers and now you can finally watch it. Also this month, the Saw franchise continues its fun and games with Jigsaw. And we can’t forget peachfuzz who’ll return in Creep 2, that for lack of a better word, creeped up on us earlier this year when the surprise news of the sequel hit the internet. If you’re a foreign horror fiend then you can keep your eyes peeled for The Snowman directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In).

With so many festival movies becoming accessible to viewers everywhere, it’s evident that October is going to be an amazing month for horror.
