For all intents and purposes, I think it’s fair to say that director Ridley Scott, has reigned as Horror/ Science Fiction king for nearly four decades. So it’s no surprise to me that Scott’s son, Luke Scott, would follow in dad’s footsteps and make his directorial debut within his father’s “kingdom.” However, this like father like son scenario does come with a shock factor; The debut teaser for Luke Scott’s film MORGAN, looks scary as hell!

Luckily, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything too crazy. You don’t even see Morgan’s face up until the very end, which is creepy enough in and of itself! What it does give away is that in MORGAN, scientists once again try to become God and attempt to create life, but not in the fun and natural way that we create life. This teaser does it’s job perfectly by not showing the viewer a god damned thing, yet leaving us with a unsettling pit in our stomach and wanting more.

I don’t know if Luke Scott is making poppa proud with MORGAN, or if he is trying to dethrone him, but one thing is for sure: I want to see it. I’m sure we will have more information, trailers, and stills to show you all in the weeks to come, but for now check out the teaser trailer, and let us know if you think MORGAN has what it takes to take the crown, and make Ridley Scott say those memorable words… “Luke, I am your father”.

Plot Synopsis
Morgan is about a corporate risk-management consultant who has to decide and determine whether or not to terminate an artificial being’s life that was made in a laboratory environment.
