Month after month, the fine folks at Shudder continue to provide horror fans with excellent genre content that the majority of us can’t find anywhere else. This time they’ve acquired streaming rights to the stand-out Scandi-Noir Drama, JORDSKOTT.

Interestingly enough, Shudder seems to be taking a bit of a different approach with this one. Instead of dumping every episode for subscribers to binge watch immediately, the first two episodes will be made available on April 6th with two additional episodes added each week. There’s definitely something to be said for building anticipation, but this also helps to ensure that subscribers get in the habit of opening and using Shudder on at least a weekly basis–Well played.

We’ll be sinking our teeth into JORDSKOTT in the near future and providing a full review, but until then, have a look at the original international trailer and official Season 1 plot synopsis below.

A detective returns to her hometown seven years after her daughter’s disappearance, trying to find a connection to a current case.
