In case you haven’t noticed, the small country of Ireland has been making a big splash in the horror genre over the last several years. 2017 looks to be no different with one of the newest entries, WITHOUT NAME from director Lorcan Finnegan. I don’t know exactly what is going on, but I do know that it is trippy. And who doesn’t like a strange trip in the dark, spooky woods?

Having already won a litany of awards, including ones for Best Director, Best Editor, Best Cinematographer, as well as nominations for Best Sound, distributor Global Digital Releasing hopes to carry the success over to VOD. Luckily you don’t have to wait long (or at all). WITHOUT NAME hit all major VOD platforms on June 20th.

Land surveyor Eric (Alan McKenna). He travels to a remote, unnamed, Irish woodland – to assess its suitability for a new development project. However, not all is as simple as it seems on this assignment. Intrigued by the wood’s foreboding mysticism, Eric finds himself drawn into a dangerous game, that could lead to him becoming a prisoner of this place without name.
