After claiming to retire back in 2013, Steven Soderbergh is jumping on the horror movie wagon with his upcoming movie UNSANE. Soderbergh has stayed active since then, with LOGAN LUCKY and a few TV productions, however this will be his first genre film. Given the immense success of horror cinema last year, it’s no surprise that more directors are jumping onboard. Soderbergh is tackling the subject of stalkers and the mental damage left behind, which will hit home for many due to the abundance of information that can be found on the interweb today.

Starring Golden Globe winner Claire Foy (THE CROWN), UNSANE gives off a very SHUDDER ISLAND and THE WARD vibes. However, what set’s this one apart from the rest is the fact that this is shot entirely with iPhone camera which gives it a bit of a grimy appearance.

UNSANE hits theaters March 23rd.
