If there’s one thing Jordan Rubin can do, it’s make a ridiculous horror film. He proved that much with 2014’s Zombeavers. Now he, along with Zombeavers co-writers Jon and Al Kaplan, is back with his unmistakable blend of terror.

The Drone follows a young couple that, for whatever reason, becomes terrorized by a consumer drone with the consciousness of a serial killer. Let’s be honest, you’re either in or out at this point. If you’re in, like I definitely am, check out the trailer and let us know what you think.

The film is set to make its world premiere at Slamdance later this month. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we get our eyes on it. It’s gonna be real dumb.

Plot Synopsis:

A cornered serial killer transfers his consciousness into a consumer drone, which flies off to terrorize newlyweds Rachel (Alex Essoe) and Chris (John Brotherton). The couple must fight to stop the insidious device before it destroys them both.
