There’s a good chance that you’ve rented a home or apartment at some point in your life. And while that particular living arrangement can be convenient at times and even financially viable, it can also be downright scary–especially if your landlord is a sadistic S.O.B. with an affliction for filming strangers.

13 CAMERAS (previously titled SLUMLORD) was a standout hit at the 2015 Fantasia International Film Festival, and 2015 Film4 Fright Fest in the UK, and now it’s getting ready to hit theaters and VOD on April 15th. I’ve had my eye on this one for quite a while, so we look forward to having a full-blown review for you guys in the coming weeks. Plot Synopsis
Newlyweds, Ryan and Claire move into a new home across the country, having no idea their grim and lascivious landlord, Gerald, has installed secret cameras in their rental home. As Ryan and Claire’s relationship strains from the stress of their pregnancy, Gerald becomes increasingly consumed with their lives, and begins to physically invade their privacy. Ryan and Claire soon find out that their marital issues are nothing in comparison to the monster that watches their every move.
