We’ve been keeping tabs on Marc Carreté’s AFTER THE LETHARGY, for what feels like forever. We covered the teaser, we noted when filming wrapped, and we wrote about the trailer. Now, finally, after like a year of following the progress of the movie, we have a world premiere date. AFTER THE LETHARGY will premiere May 26 at FANTASPOA in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Along with news of the premiere, we also got a new poster, which you can check out below.

AFTER THE LETHARGY has a woman named Sara traveling to places of extraterrestrial activity when on one trip she and a forest ranger are chased by an alien creature. They then have to seek refuge in an abandoned military barrack, but they’re not alone.

Sara (Andrea Guasch) travels to the hot spot in which supposedly one of the most extraordinary contact episodes with extraterrestrials in history took place. The forest ranger (Joe Manjón) and a sinister villager (Ramon Canals), accompany the girl, helping her to overcome the dangers that nature entails. However, despite good intentions, they will soon be attacked by a creature that lives in the depths of the forest, being forced to take refuge in an old abandoned military barracks.
