What happens when the texts and emails of 17,000 people get hacked and leaked? In Salem, it means things go batshit crazy. The latest trailer for ASSASSINATION NATION is of the red band variety and helps piece together the events leading up to the town losing its mind–as well as the brutal aftermath.

The trailer opens with the high school principal getting hacked before 17,000 townsfolk get their emails and texts stolen as well. One can imagine the dark secrets and depraved/scandalous photos made available. Once the hacked emails and texts go viral, all hell breaks loose in Salem with some pretty gnarly violence.

ASSASSINATION NATION is written and directed by Sam Levinson (THE WIZARD OF LIES, ANOTHER HAPPY DAY). The movie stars Odessa Young, Hari Nef, Suki Waterhouse, Abra, Colman Domingo, Bill Skarsgård, Joel McHale, Anika Noni Rose, Bella Thorne, Maude Apatow, Cody Christian, and Danny Ramirez.
