J.J. Abrams is known for the secrecy that surrounds his movies. 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE snuck out of nowhere, and while rumors of a third CLOVERFIELD movie have been swirling for some time about the movie. Rumors even hinted that the movie could hit Netflix with a possible trailer dropping during tonight’s Super Bowl LLI. Well, we have a trailer for THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX and a super surprising release date—tonight on Netflix after the game.

The movie, going under the guise of GOD PARTICLE, appears to center on the events leading up to the original CLOVERFIELD, with the trailer showing footage from the first movie along with new footage from a new perspective. The movie appears to tie the first two movies together.

THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX is directed by Julius Onah, and stars Daniel Brühl, Elizabeth Debicki, Aksel Hennie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O’Dowd, John Ortiz, David Oyelowo and Zhang Ziyi. This is Onah’s directorial debut. Catch the movie tonight on Netflix.
