"What you see will disturb you..."

You may recall during last year’s E3 conference that we called Bloober Team’s >OBSERVER_ the freshest horror title of the event. Unfortunately for us, news slowed over the last twelve months or so. But if you paid attention during Microsoft’s event on Sunday, you would have seen the hotly anticipated title make an appearance.

The team has since confirmed that the game will be released later this summer, and the Steam landing page has even gone live with a few still images and clips/teaser. I personally reviewed Bloober Team’s previous title, LAYERS OF FEAR, and I couldn’t possibly be more excited for their brand of mind-bending, cerebral terror to be mixed with technology. We’ll keep you posted with further release information as it comes our way. But until then, check out the teaser and images below.

Game Synopsis
The year is 2084. You are Daniel Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an Observer, and part of a corporate-funded police unit whose purpose is to hack and invade suspects’ minds. When you receive a mysterious message from your estranged son, a high-level engineer for the almighty Chiron Corporation, you journey to the seedy Class C slums of Krakow to investigate. As you hack into the minds of criminals and their victims to find clues, you are forced to relive their darkest fears. How far will you go to discover the truth?
