I took a break from covering film festivals this year, so I completely missed the viral sensation that is/was Skinamarink. Now that I’ve set my eyes on the trailer, though, I believe I understand the hype.

Successful in a way that very few trailers are, Skinamarink looks like an abstract nightmare. I can’t wait to see what some are already calling a “once in a generation” film. If you like what you see, I have good news: it’s coming to theaters on January 13th, 2023.
