Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…but The Green Inferno will finally hit the big screen thanks to  Blumhouse Productions’ label BH Tilt, Universal Pictures and High Top Releasing. I suppose this one took a village to get moving after Open Road Films previously backed out at the last minute over a marketing disagreement. Deadline reported this morning that the film will be released on approximately 1,000 screens in the United States on September 25th. That put’s us just past a year from the first release date.

Here’s to hoping it’s worth the wait.
