Being a teenager in high school is tough enough. Add in psychopathic tendencies and your general abundance of raging sexual hormones, and you have Netflix’s latest title THE END OF THE F***KING WORLD, which hits the streaming service this Friday, Jan. 5.

The eight-part series follows James, a 17-year-old who’s confident he’s a psychopath, wanting to graduate from killing animals to humans. He happens to take an interest in Alyssa, 17, who spots James as her possible soulmate. Boy, isn’t dating hard enough already?

The series, which has already aired in the UK and was created by Jonathan Entwistle, is based on an award-winning comic book series created by Charles Forsman. THE END OF THE F***KING WORLD stars Jessica Barden (HANNA, THE LOBSTER), Alex Lawther (IMITATION GAME, BLACK MIRROR) and Steve Oram (A DARK SONG, THE WORLD’S END).

Plot Synopsis
James is 17 and is pretty sure he is a psychopath. Alyssa, also 17, is the cool and moody new girl at school. The pair make a connection and she persuades him to embark on a road trip in search of her real father.
