If you’re going to be in London anytime soon and want to catch a play that isn’t something from Shakespeare, the Phoenix Theatre London has a treat for you—THE EXORCIST stage production.

Directed by Sean Mathias (BENT, NO MAN’S LAND), the stage production appears to follow the story of the two-time Oscar-winning movie from 1973.

The play stars Ian McKellen as the voice of the Demon, along with Jenny Seagrove as Chris MacNeil and Peter Bowles as Father Lankester Merrin. Clare Louise Connolly plays Regan while Adam Garcia plays Father Damien Karras.

Plot Synopsis
When the medical profession fails to provide answers to young Regan’s strange symptoms, her desperate mother Chris turns to a local priest for help. But before Father Damien can tackle what’s before him, he must overcome his own shaken beliefs, as this fight is for more than just one girl’s soul.
