A stunning debut by Sean Brosnan, My Father Die has beautiful cinematography, hyper violence, intense sequences, all with a Southern twist (review).  After making its premiere at SXSW earlier this year and winding its way through the festival circuit, the film is now scheduled for release in select theaters and VOD earlier next year.  To celebrate, we have the new trailer, below.  Stylistic and high voltage, prepare to get pumped up for the film’s release.

Written and directed by Sean Brosnan, and produced by Pierce Brosnan, the film stars Joe Anderson, Gary Stretch, Candace Smith and John Schneider.

My Father Die will be released in theaters and VOD on January 20, 2017.

Deaf and mute since having his hearing knocked out at the age of 12, Asher (Anderson) has been training for almost two decades to avenge himself on Ivan (Stretch), the man that killed his older brother, 21 years ago. And now that his nemesis is out of prison, he may get his chance. But Asher’s target also happens to be his father.
