It seems fans of horror either love a good old fashion ghost hunting story, or they loathe it.  Personally, I tend to enjoy them, but I’ll be the first to admit that the sub genre tends to fall short on delivery.  Of course that means there is also plenty of room to be surprised.  And that’s exactly what happened after watching the trailer for BLEED from Spitfire Studios. I can’t recall if I’ve ever been so surprised by the cinematography in a ghost movie.  Sure, there’s a lot going on, but it doesn’t have that amateur look to it in the least.

Directed by Tripp Rhame, stars Riley Smith (ABC’s Nashville, HBO’s True Blood), Chelsey Crisp (ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat) , Michael Steger (CW’s 90210) and Lyndon Smith (NBC’s Parenthood, SECRET IN THEIR EYES).

BLEED will hit theaters and VOD on March 25th via Gravitas Ventures.

Synopsis
It seemed perfect – a new house, a new marriage, a child soon to be born. But when Sarah and Matt invite their friends to celebrate, the situation turns deadly as they enter a burned-out prison on a ghost hunt. As the six friends encounter horrors of this world and beyond, no one is safe – not even the unborn.
