Few things get me more excited than a promising debut horror feature… except maybe hardware stores. Im kidding. Kind of. 

Brandon Swope’s big debut is a modern mystery/horror film that takes place entirely within the walls of an eerie hardware store. It centers around Sam Coleman, an anxious young employee at Brooke’s Hardware Store who finds himself entangled in a terrifying mystery at the heart of the business. The filmmakers say:

“the story depicts the often dreadful experience of working an isolated retail job and elevates it to a sinister and nightmarish level”.

There’s no trailer to share yet, but we will have a full review for you by the time Human Resources is ready for release. It’s set to hit VOD outlets on January 10th from Deskpop Entertainment. Until then, you can check out the stills, poster, and synopsis below.

Plot Synopsis
After starting a job at a creepy hardware store, Sam Coleman uncovers a shocking mystery involving a missing employee. With the help of Sarah, a cynical coworker, Sam plunges into the dark corners of the store and is forced to confront the terrifying forces that lurk just behind the walls.
