We’ve been hearing of the Eli Roth produced The Stranger for quite some time now. Written and directed by Guillermo Amoedo (The Green Inferno, Aftershock), the film follows a mysterious man in a small Canadian town seeking his wife. This sparks a horrendous series of events culminating in a tension-filled bloodbath. The flick has picked up several awards in the festival scene – so we are happy to see it finally getting a release date here in the United States.
IFC informed Fango earlier this week that The Stranger is set for a limited theatrical release and full VOD release on June 12 under the IFC Midnight banner. Have a look at an early trailer below to get a vibe of what can be expected.
