The 2018 festival scene has been stacked with high-potential genre gems, but perhaps none have impressed me more than Daniel Robbins and Zack Weiner’s Pledge. I called it a “mean and disgusting home run of a horror film” in my review, and now it appears that IFC Midnight will be releasing the film in theaters and digital platforms on January 11th, 2019.

We’ve been championing this thing since its early days on Kickstarter, so it’s been really cool to see the positive fan reactions online during its festival run. If you’ve been unable to catch a screening up to this point, make sure to catch it when it releases early next year. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Plot Synopsis:

A group of college freshmen pledge an exclusive fraternity but soon realize there’s more at stake than they could have ever imagined.
