Trailers these days tend to venture too far into spoiler territory, especially the trailers for Fede Alvarez’s Don’t Breathe, which is why we’ve made it a point to avoid covering them.  This film is an experience, and we want you to go into the theater blind (pun intended).  Luckily, the latest trailer is an interactive VR trailer that places you directly into the action without giving anything away.

The clip places you directly into the middle of a terrifying face off in a very dark basement, and you can still enjoy it without VR tech.  It’s just a small tease of the intensity to come.

Fede Alvarez wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues, and the film stars Jany Levy, Daniel Zovatto, Dylan Minnette, and Stephen Lang. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert produce for Ghost House Pictures. J.R. Young, Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake and Erin Westerman executive produce.

Don’t Breathe will be in theaters on August 26th, 2016.  

Plot Synopsis
Three teens who get away with perfectly planned home robberies have set their sights on one last payout that will get them out of crime forever. Their target: a reclusive blind man with millions of dollars in hiding. But as soon as they break into his home, the tables are turned and they find themselves trapped and fighting for survival against a psychopath with secrets of his own.
