I don’t know about you, but we at Modern Horrors are really excited to see what Jordan Peele brings to the horror world.  His directorial debut, Get Out, now has its male lead to add to the previously announced Allison Williams.  Daniel Kaluuya(Sicario, Black Mirror) is set to play opposite Williams as the black boyfriend who visits his white girlfriend’s family estate in a movie that promises to tackle the race issues plaguing our country.  If you haven’t watched Black Mirror, you need to.  Daniel Kaluuya stars in the episode ‘Fifteen Million Merits’ and is fantastic.  His casting makes me even more excited for Get Out and I can’t wait to see the next news to roll out.

Daniel Kaluuya has reeled in the male lead in Get Out, the directorial debut of Key & Peele alum Jordan Peele. The Sicario actor will star opposite Allison Williams in the Blumhouse horror pic about a young African-American man who visits his white girlfriend’s family estate.

Further plot details are under wraps, but when Get Out was announced in September, Peele said it “takes on the task of exploring race in America — something that hasn’t really been done within the genre since Night Of The Living Dead 47 years ago.”
