If you have yet to see one of the best horror comedies ever, Tucker and Dale vs Evil, then please rectify that immediately. It’s on Netflix, so no excuse. You can thank me later.

The director/writer of 2010’s instant cult hit, Eli Craig, is now back with another horror comedy in the works. Titled Little Evil, this one centers on a poor fellow who finds out the woman he just married is actually the mother of a 6-year old Antichrist. If this film is anything like Craig’s previous film, expect gory hijinks to ensue.

Per Variety, Craig’s script was passed on by Universal Pictures only to be snatched up by Netflix. Considering Universal’s current blueprint for classic monster reboots, I believe this to be a huge win for horror fans.  Production is set to begin in Cleveland next week, with a premiere set for Netflix sometime in 2017.

Adam Scott (Krampus) and Evangeline Lilly are set to star in the film. Donald Faison,Chris D’Elia, Brad Williams, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Marcus Terrell Smith and Tyler Labine (Dale from Tucker and Dale vs Evil) also appear. Owen Atlas will be playing the Antichrist.

Little Evil follows Gary (Scott), who just married Samantha (Lilly) only to find out that her 6-year-old son is the Antichrist.
