One of my more anticipated genre flicks from the 2016 festival season is Jon Ford’s OFFENSIVE. Promising to be a dark, violent tale of revenge set in rural France; OFFENSIVE is making its world premiere at this year’s London FrightFest on August 27th. If you’re able to attend, you might want to do so.

The story seems to follow an older couple who move to the French countryside only to be greeted by a group of unruly whippersnappers. Once the acts of violence begin to escalate, the seasoned couple takes matters into their own hands… and as a result, their lives will never be the same.
