We were big fans of The Eyes of My Mother, and now it looks like writer/director Nicolas Pesce is returning to action with a film adaptation of Ryu Murakami’s (Audition) Piercing.

That duo alone should be enough to grab your attention, but in case you need a little more substance to get the juices going, check out the debut trailer below. Pesce appears to turn in another masterfully stylized slice of cinema when it hits theaters on February 1st. We hope to have additional coverage in the near future.

Plot Synopsis:

A man kisses his wife and baby goodbye and seemingly heads away on business, with a plan to check into a hotel, call an escort service, and kill an unsuspecting prostitute.
