Hands down my favorite film out of SXSW was Fede Alvarez’ latest, Don’t Breathe (read my review here). The film sees Alvarez reunited with 2013’s Evil Dead star Jane Levy, and Screen Gems has released a new image of the terrified leading lady (above).

Alvarez wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues, and the film stars Jany Levy, Daniel Zovatto, Dylan Minnette, and Stephen Lang. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert produce for Ghost House Pictures. J.R. Young, Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake and Erin Westerman executive produce.

Don’t Breathe will be released in theaters on August 26th, 2016. Trust me, you’re going to want to see this so add it to your radar now.

Plot Synopsis
Three teens who get away with perfectly planned home robberies have set their sights on one last payout that will get them out of crime forever. Their target: a reclusive blind man with millions of dollars in hiding. But as soon as they break into his home, the tables are turned and they find themselves trapped and fighting for survival against a psychopath with secrets of his own.
